As he spoke to a group of 350 citizens at the Upstate Family Resource Center in Boiling Springs, he asked an outspoken attendee why she was afraid of Barack Obama.

Someone in the crowd suggested the Congressman watch Glenn Beck. Inglis replied, “Turn that television off when he comes on.”

This was not well-received by folks who started loudly booing their Representative as many stood up and left the building.”

The picture of you that I get is of someone who is, say, one of those employees who write determinedly upbeat things like “happy, happy, joy, joy” on the blackboard everyone has to pass on their way to the retirement home dining room, and that for you, in Obamaland everything is sunshine, lollipops and cute little bunnies, and that we are the cloud covering up the shining face of the Obamasun.

I suggest that DailyKos might be a better venue for you.

Hey, your not all wrong. None the less, leave our healthcare alone. We don’t want to be pushed into ‘public’ healthcare. Stop threatening to use government force to push us into it. Setting aside our concerns and powering forward to do what we asked you not to (while saying we are the ones lying about it / claiming your not doing exactly that) is not exactly going to get anyone to ‘settle down’.
