At this point, I’m beginning to wonder if there are any leaders from the early years of the republic who wouldn’t be horrified at what has been happening in Washington during the last two months.

Those who have read the Federalist Papers will realize how prescient that have proven to be. It seems like there is a great deal of prescient wisdom in and around the “traditional” America, and an inordinate amount of folly in those who would tear it down. One could almost discern a battleground between the Divine and the Diabolical.

How many times must people face ‘I told you so’ situations before they see that the people who oppose them have some wisdom?
