Dont let the Clinton’s fool you if they’re pretending to be tough on China.

Does anyone else remember the 92 election and Clinton was beating up on Bush Sr and that when Clinton is elected he’s going to be hard on China and not let commerce dictate over human rights.

pbbt all that BS right out the window the day he got in.

Good discussion.
I would point out that the comparison between China and East Germany is not quite right. East Germany was very closed off from the world. A better comparison would be East Germany and North Korea.
China actually does have technology. They also have allowed in capitalism, starbucks, mcdonald’s etc. They also have a huge chunk of our national debt.
Like Hillary says when people ask her why the U.S. doesn’t get tougher with China “How do you get tough on your banker?”
It’s a situation that we will have to deal with at some point. I sure wish that they were’s given the Olympics.
