Amazing how if you combine MIthras, the Catholic Church, the Roman Empire, the Greek pagan Gods, German St. Nicks, and British disorderliness in December. You can derive what is known today as “Christmas”.

Ours were sweet, dense and kept in tins. Usually abandoned fruit cake tins!
