I found this out the hard way with my own blog when my entire sidebar disappeared. I had made some edits but decided I didn’t like the results so I Xed out the entire window, thinking that would be ok since I had not clicked the “publish” button. Luckily I had saved a slightly earlier version of the template code in Word – so was able to begin again.
