I’m not a grammar expert, but I’m good at paying attention to details and noticing errors that others don’t. I can even find errors in my own writing even though that is difficult for most writers. You make a good point that it could get tedious quickly. I also like the comparion to picking dandelions. I did that once as a kid with just my hands; my parents offered to pay 1 penny for each of them.
